“Bull City Hangout” is directly tied to my online community paper, the Durham Skywriter. I make announcements, telling viewers what’s happening that day in Durham, and I also talk about programs, services, and volunteer opportunities offered by local government, nonprofits, businesses, and community groups. Viewers can join me on camera by clicking on the link that I post on Facebook—this is a great way to promote yourself and/or share information. Bull City Hangout airs live on the Durham Skywriter Facebook page, the durhamskywriter Twitter feed, and the durhamskywriter YouTube channel at noon on weekdays and 10am on Saturdays.
“TV Skywriter” is an interview show where I talk with interesting people I think you should know about. Half of my guests are local (from the Triangle area) and the other half are from various countries around the world. I have interviewed a media team from Nairobi, Kenya; a cricket team manager from Kabul, Afghanistan; and have had musicians to perform original tunes. TV Skywriter airs live on the Durham Skywriter Facebook page, the durhamskywriter Twitter feed, and the durhamskywriter YouTube channel at 7pm on Sundays. Showtimes can be adjusted for those guests who have schedule conflicts and for those who live in faraway timezones. Authors should write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org so that I can get a copy of their books in preparation for the interviews.
Both of my shows can be found on the “durhamskywriter” YouTube channel.
